Shkhara is already quite serious deal and can not be underestimated. Taking into account political situation of Gergia still it is worth to climb via its south side. The north side is responsible for lot of deaths of climbers dreaming about its summit but never reaching it.

Our plan is to climb it via normal route firs (red colour) to reach the main summit. Depending on snow/time/weather conditions, we perhaps give one try to reach also west summit via the blue route. The pre-summit on the right will be reached as aclimatization trip (green route).

Expedition is planned to July 2015. My climbing partner will be mrqa (Vit Orava - blog)
